What is Dual VET?

Dual VET combines education at the training center with on-the-job learning at a company. Since the LOMLOE Act and RD 659/2023, it splits into two modes: General (25–35% company hours, with grant) and Intensive (35–50%, with employment contract and social security).

Andalusia

Community of Madrid

Madrid Business-University program with specific requirements from the regional department. Agreement management through the Community of Madrid VET portal.

Basque Country

Ikaslan network with an advanced alternation model. Integration with Lanbide for employment tracking and bilingual requirements (Basque/Spanish).

Valencian Community

Managed through ITACA with a Dual VET module. Framework agreements with the Valencian Business Confederation (CEV) and adapted calendar.
